What is an Eagle Scout?

Those who have earned the Eagle Scout rank count it among their most treasured achievements. Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program. This includes an extensive service project benefiting a local nonprofit that the Scout plans, organizes, leads, and manages. The project must generate over 100 service hours. Eagle Scout rank is often earned by the end of the 9th grade.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to our first group of 12 girls that became Eagle this June 2021, among the first girls in the nation to receive this award.

Since 1912, more than two million Scouts have earned the Eagle Scout award- Scouting’s highest rank advancement.

Eagle Scouts exemplify the virtues of service, leadership, and reverence, using their training and influence to better their communities and the world.
